Exportsy Orders Google Sheets is a Shopify application that synchronizes orders from your Shopify store to a Google Sheet. This Privacy Policy explains how we access, use, store, and share information obtained from Google APIs and your Shopify store.

Google API Data: The App requires access to your Google Drive and Google Sheets to read and write data necessary for synchronizing your Shopify orders. We access and use the following Google API scopes:

  • /auth/userinfo.email: Allows the App to view your email address. This is used to identify and verify the user accessing the application.
  • /auth/drive.file: Allows the App to view and manage the files in your Google Drive. This is necessary to read order data from Shopify and write it into the appropriate Google Sheets document.
  • /auth/spreadsheets: Allows the App to view and manage your Google Sheets. This scope is used to create, read, and write data in Google Sheets for order synchronization.
  • /auth/drive.readonly: We use this scope to let users choose the main spreadsheet to link from a dropdown menu in our app.

Shopify API Data: We collect the following information through Shopify’s APIs:

  • Order details including order number, customer information, product details, order status, and timestamps.

Direct Information from Merchants:

  • Contact details: We may collect email addresses and other contact details directly from merchants.
  • Automated logs: We generate automated logs relating to the merchant's use of the App, including access times and usage statistics.

Information from Merchants’ Customers:

  • We do not directly collect information from merchants’ customers, nor do we drop cookies or use other tracking technologies on their devices.

3. How We Use Information

The information collected is used solely for the purpose of providing the App's functionality, which includes:

  • Reading and writing data to Google Sheets.
  • Synchronizing Shopify orders with Google Sheets.
  • Improving and troubleshooting the App.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

Google API Data: Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This means we do not share your Google API data with any third parties except as necessary to provide the App's functionality.

Shopify API Data: We do not share your Shopify store data with third parties except as necessary to provide the App's functionality.

Data collected through Google and Shopify APIs is stored securely and retained only as long as necessary to provide the App's services. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the data.
